We are looking for a Mechanical CAD Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in structural steel fabrication drawings, material take-off, and estimation for EPC / fabrication projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare structural steel fabrication drawings and general arrangement drawings.
Prepare detailed drawings for columns, beams, platforms, supports, handrails, ladders, base plates, brackets, and other steel structures.
Prepare Material Take-Off / BOQ from drawings.
Support estimation and quantity calculation for structural steel works.
Coordinate with production, site, and project teams for drawing clarifications.
Revise drawings as per client comments and site requirements.
Maintain proper drawing records and documentation.
Required Skills
Good knowledge in AutoCAD is mandatory.
Knowledge of Tekla Structures will be preferred.
Basic understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection drawings.
Ability to read engineering drawings and prepare fabrication details.
Good knowledge in material calculation and estimation.
Basic computer knowledge in MS Excel.
Qualification
Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
Preferred Candidate
1–3 years of experience in structural steel fabrication / EPC / engineering company.
Immediate joiners will be preferred.
