1. Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong QA Engineer to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our web-based calling application. The role involves functional, performance, and real-time communication testing across voice/video calling systems.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Functional Testing
- Design and execute test cases
- Validate call features (initiation, termination, mute, hold, transfer)
- Cross-browser testing
B. Real-Time Communication Testing
- Test WebRTC features
- Validate latency, jitter, packet loss
C. API & Backend Testing
- API testing using Postman
- Validate signaling protocols
D. Performance Testing
- Load testing for concurrent calls
E. Automation Testing
- Selenium / Cypress / Playwright
F. Defect Management
- Log and track defects
G. Security Testing
- Validate HTTPS, SRTP
3. Required Skills
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2–3 years QA experience
- WebRTC, SIP, VoIP knowledge
- Automation & API testing tools
