Reports To: Restaurant Captain / Restaurant Manager
Job Purpose
The Steward/Waiter is responsible for providing exceptional dining service to guests by ensuring a warm welcome, accurate order taking, timely food and beverage service, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, cleanliness, and professionalism. The role is essential in creating a memorable European dining experience that reflects the values and service standards of Olegio Gastronomy Pvt. Ltd.
Key Responsibilities
* Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude and assist them to their tables.
* Present menus, explain dishes, daily specials, and make recommendations when required.
* Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
* Serve food and beverages according to Olegio’s service standards.
* Ensure guests are attended to throughout their dining experience and promptly respond to requests.
* Upsell menu items, desserts, beverages, and specialty products whenever appropriate.
* Set up tables before service and clear, clean, and reset tables after guests leave.
* Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, service stations, and restaurant equipment.
* Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth and timely service.
* Process guest bills and payments accurately following company procedures.
* Follow all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health regulations.
* Maintain proper grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards at all times.
* Assist with opening and closing duties, including polishing cutlery, folding napkins, stocking service stations, and preparing the restaurant for service.
* Report guest feedback, complaints, maintenance issues, or operational concerns to the Restaurant Captain or Manager immediately.
* Support team members and perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
* Higher Secondary School (12th Pass) or equivalent.
* Previous experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, or fine dining establishment is preferred.
* Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also apply.
* Basic English communication skills are required; knowledge of Hindi or Malayalam is an advantage.

Working Conditions
* Rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
* Standing and walking for extended periods.
* Ability to carry trays, plates, and service equipment safely.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹27,793.32 per month
