Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances after use.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items using industrial dishwashers or manual methods.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Ensure proper disposal and handling of waste and recycling materials.
- Stock and organize kitchen supplies, including cleaning materials and ingredients.
- Help set up and break down kitchen stations before and after shifts.
- Assist staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and reorder as necessary.
- Ensure that all cleaning equipment is used and maintained properly.
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Report any kitchen equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
