Key Responsibilities
- Operate VMC machines to produce components as per drawings and specifications.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
- Set tools, fixtures, and workpieces correctly before machining.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets.
- Perform tool offset adjustments and monitor machining operations.
- Inspect finished components using Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure product quality by conducting in-process inspections.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and perform basic preventive maintenance.
- Report machine issues, breakdowns, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures, 5S practices, and company quality standards.
- Meet daily production targets while minimizing scrap and rework.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience
- 1– 5 years of experience as a VMC Operator in a precision manufacturing or tooling industry.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of VMC/CNC machine operation.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of cutting tools, feeds, and speeds.
- Good problem-solving and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and as part of a team.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹30,049.34 per month
