Medivision Scan & Diagnostic Research Centre Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our Chennai team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory investigations, maintaining quality standards, handling laboratory equipment, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting while adhering to NABL and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests as per SOPs.
- Process blood, urine, and other clinical specimens accurately.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment.
- Ensure proper sample collection, labeling, storage, and documentation.
- Maintain internal quality control (IQC) and assist in external quality assurance (EQAS) activities.
- Record and verify test results before releasing reports.
- Follow NABL guidelines, infection control practices, and laboratory safety protocols.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and inventory of reagents and consumables.
- Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate preventive maintenance.
- Support pathologists and senior laboratory personnel in daily laboratory operations.
- Ensure confidentiality of patient information and laboratory data.
Eligibility
- Qualification: DMLT / BMLT / MLT from a recognized institution.
- Experience: 0–3 years in a diagnostic laboratory or hospital laboratory.
- Freshers with strong practical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Clinical Biochemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Clinical Pathology.
- Familiarity with automated laboratory analyzers.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge and laboratory information systems (LIS).
- Ability to work in rotational shifts.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred
- Experience in an NABL-accredited laboratory.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and laboratory documentation.
Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
