Job Summary:
We are hiring a results-driven professional to lead Business Development and Sales for sugarcane-focused products/solutions by collaborating with sugar mills and key stakeholders. The role demands strong field execution, commercial negotiation skills, and deep engagement with farmers and institutional buyers.
Required Education:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Agriculture)
- 3-4 years experience in field work
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and on board sugar mills and key institutional customers
- Drive end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation, pitching, negotiation, and closure
- Build strong relationships with Key Decision Makers (KDMs) in sugar mills
- Achieve sales targets (volume, revenue, and profitability) per account
- Manage sales forecasting and seasonal demand planning
- Support farmers and field teams with product usage and application guidance
- Execute farmer-level demand generation activities in coordination with internal teams
- Track competitor activities (pricing, new launches, marketing strategies)
- Provide insights on market trends, crop patterns, and customer needs
- Develop connections with agri institutions and industry associations
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
