Position Summary
The Senior Manager / AVP – Outreach & Admissions will lead the University's outreach strategy to drive student enrolment across undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The role is responsible for developing and executing integrated outreach initiatives through multiple admission channels, including school engagement, education fairs, career counselling events, channel partners, education consultants, corporate partnerships, and other lead generation activities.
The incumbent will build high-performing outreach teams, establish strategic partnerships, manage regional expansion initiatives, and ensure achievement of admission targets while strengthening the University's brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Admissions Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute annual outreach and admissions strategies aligned with institutional enrolment objectives.
- Achieve student admission targets across all academic programs.
- Identify new markets, cities, schools, and regions for expansion.
- Develop market penetration plans to maximize applications and conversions.
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategies to improve market share.
2. School Outreach
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, principals, counselors, and educational institutions.
- Plan and execute school presentations, career guidance sessions, seminars, and workshops.
- Organize campus visits for schools and prospective students.
- Expand the University's school engagement network across assigned territories.
3. Education Fairs & Events
- Plan and manage participation in national and international education fairs.
- Organize admission drives, open houses, career expos, and promotional events.
- Coordinate logistics, branding, promotional materials, and event execution.
- Evaluate event ROI and optimize future participation.
4. Education Consultants & Channel Partner Management
- Build, manage, and expand the network of education consultants and admission partners.
- Identify, onboard, train, and support new channel partners.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and engagement programs for consultants.
- Develop incentive and relationship management programs to improve admissions through partners.
5. Lead Generation & Conversion
- Ensure timely follow-up of all qualified leads generated through outreach activities.
- Collaborate with Admissions Counselors to improve lead conversion ratios.
- Track enquiry-to-admission funnel performance across all channels.
- Implement initiatives to improve application and enrollment conversion rates.
6. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor regional outreach executives and admissions teams.
- Set KPIs and monitor individual and team performance.
- Conduct regular training on sales techniques, counseling, product knowledge, and CRM usage.
- Foster a performance-driven culture focused on accountability and student experience.
7. Marketing Collaboration
- Work closely with the Marketing team to execute integrated admission campaigns.
- Provide market intelligence for digital campaigns and promotional initiatives.
- Recommend localized marketing strategies based on regional trends.
- Support branding initiatives to improve institutional visibility.
8. CRM & MIS Management
- Ensure accurate maintenance of enquiries, applications, and admissions in the CRM.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
- Analyse outreach effectiveness and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain data integrity and compliance with admission policies.
9. Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop relationships with coaching institutes, NGOs, corporate organizations, government bodies, and educational associations.
- Represent the University at conferences, seminars, networking events, and industry forums.
- Build strategic collaborations that enhance admissions and brand visibility.

Desired Candidate Profile
Education
- Bachelor's Degree (Mandatory)
- Master's Degree / MBA in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related discipline preferred.
Experience
- Senior Manager: 10–15 years of relevant experience.
- Assistant Vice President: 12–18 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in Higher Education admissions, student recruitment, outreach, or education sales.
- Experience managing multiple admission channels and large outreach teams is essential.
