An AC Service Manager (or HVAC Service Manager) oversees a team of technicians and engineers to ensure efficient, profitable, and high-quality maintenance, repair, and installation of air conditioning systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise HVAC technicians. Assign daily tasks, schedule field calls, and monitor performance.
- Service Quality Control: Ensure service deliverables are met within defined response times and SLA agreements. Manage, evaluate, and resolve customer complaints.
- Revenue Generation: Drive sales for Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and replacement parts. Meet or exceed branch revenue targets and manage departmental budgets.
- Inventory & Vendor Management: Oversee spare parts inventory, monitor defective products, and handle channel partner or dealer networks.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce all safety policies, building codes, and environmental regulations pertaining to refrigerants.
Typical Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 5 to 10+ years in HVAC, refrigeration, or facilities maintenance, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a recognized HVAC certification/ITI trade license.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of electrical/mechanical fault diagnosis, chillers, VRF/VRV systems, and ventilation.
- Soft Skills: Excellent customer service, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and proficiency with CRM software.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
