Job Summary
The Car Sales Team Leader is responsible for leading and motivating the sales team to achieve monthly and yearly sales targets. The role includes monitoring sales performance, guiding sales consultants, ensuring excellent customer service, increasing dealership profitability, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the car sales team.
- Allocate daily sales activities and monitor team performance.
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets are achieved.
- Guide sales consultants throughout the sales process, from enquiry to vehicle delivery.
- Conduct daily team meetings and provide product knowledge training.
- Follow up on customer enquiries, leads, and pending bookings.
- Ensure excellent customer service and a positive buying experience.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve escalated issues professionally.
- Monitor test drives, bookings, retail deliveries, and exchange cases.
- Coordinate with finance, insurance, accessories, and registration departments for smooth vehicle delivery.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, MIS, and customer records.
- Track competitor activities and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards.
- Support recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of sales consultants.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (preferred).
- 3–6 years of experience in automobile sales.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a team leadership role.
