Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer (MEP) – Fresher to support Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities at construction project sites. This role is ideal for fresh B.Tech or Diploma graduates who are eager to build a career in site engineering and gain hands-on experience in construction project execution.
The role involves assisting senior engineers with site supervision, monitoring project progress, ensuring quality and safety compliance, coordinating with contractors and consultants, and supporting project documentation to ensure smooth execution of MEP works.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in supervising MEP installation activities at project sites.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and quality standards.
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and site teams for smooth project execution.
- Support preparation of daily progress reports, site documentation, and as-built drawings.
- Learn and interpret engineering drawings, project schedules, and technical specifications.
- Assist in identifying and resolving basic site and technical issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety procedures, and project timelines.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Basic understanding of MEP systems and construction practices.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software is an added advantage.
