The TGT Science Teacher is responsible for delivering engaging and effective Science instruction in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. The teacher will foster scientific thinking, inquiry-based learning, and practical application of concepts while supporting students' academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver Science lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Teach concepts in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Environmental Science appropriate to middle and secondary school students.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching-learning materials.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations while ensuring laboratory safety.
- Assess student performance through class tests, projects, assignments, practicals, and examinations.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment, and academic progress.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Integrate digital tools, smart classroom technology, and activity-based learning methods.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive, and student-friendly classroom environment.
- Prepare students for CBSE assessments, Olympiads, science exhibitions, and other competitions.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, school events, and extracurricular activities.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the Principal or School Management.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Science or a relevant subject from a recognized university.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school is preferred.

Salary
As per school norms and candidate qualifications and experience.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dharmapuri, Tamil Nadu (Dharmapuri): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
