DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION - REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE
The selected candidates will work as Registered Practical Nurses with the Ontario healthcare employer at employer-assigned service locations in Ontario. The role involves direct nursing care, clinical monitoring, documentation, care coordination and patient support within the RPN scope of practice and in accordance with employer policies, CNO standards and applicable Ontario healthcare requirements. Candidates must be ready to work in community, home-care, supportive-care or other employer-assigned healthcare environments and must maintain professional, safe and respectful care standards at all times.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to clients in accordance with care plans, employer protocols and the RPN scope of practice.
Assess and monitor client condition, symptoms, vital signs and changes in health status, and escalate concerns appropriately.
Administer medications and treatments where authorized and within applicable
professional and workplace requirements.
Support wound care, chronic-disease management, rehabilitation, mobility, nutrition, hydration and other assigned care needs.
Maintain accurate, timely and confidential clinical documentation, progress notes and incident reports.
Communicate professionally with clients, families, physicians, supervisors, PSWs, nurses and other members of the care team.
Follow infection prevention and control procedures, occupational health and safety requirements and employer policies.
Support safe transfers, mobility and activities of daily living where clinically appropriate to the assigned care setting.
Participate in shift handovers, care conferences and interdisciplinary communication as required.
Maintain client dignity, privacy, confidentiality, cultural sensitivity and professional boundaries.
Respond appropriately to urgent or changing clinical situations and follow escalation / emergency procedures.
Maintain punctuality, reliability, professional conduct and effective communication throughout all assigned shifts.
Preferred Clinical Background
Community nursing, home care or patient-support environments
Long-term care, supportive living, elderly care or complex care
Medical-surgical nursing or post-acute care Rehabilitation, chronic-care or wound-care experience
Mental-health, addiction or disability-support settings where applicable.
Pay: From ₹330,000.00 per month
