About the Role
As our Brand & Content Strategist, you'll be responsible for shaping how consumers experience D Wave Skin through words, ideas, and storytelling.
We're looking for someone who is equal parts creative thinker, strategist, and exceptional copywriter—someone who can take a single insight or idea and transform it into compelling communication across websites, campaigns, social media, packaging, founder communication, performance marketing, and more.
You'll define and evolve the brand's tone of voice, develop campaign narratives, and collaborate closely with our in-house Graphic Designers to translate concepts into impactful visual communication.
This is not a traditional content writing role. We're looking for someone who understands branding, consumer psychology, and how powerful storytelling builds brands people remember.
Key Responsibilities1. Brand Strategy & Storytelling
- Develop and evolve D Wave Skin's brand voice across all consumer touchpoints.
- Build compelling narratives for product launches, campaigns, seasonal moments, and brand initiatives.
- Translate business and marketing objectives into engaging brand communication.
- Ensure consistency in messaging across digital and offline channels.
2. Creative & Content Strategy
- Develop integrated content strategies aligned with marketing and business goals.
- Create campaign concepts that seamlessly adapt across multiple formats and platforms.
- Build editorial calendars for launches, educational initiatives, and always-on communication.
- Identify content opportunities based on consumer behaviour, market trends, and cultural moments.
3. Copywriting
Write persuasive, engaging, and conversion-focused copy for:
- Website & landing pages
- Product pages
- Blogs & skincare education
- Email campaigns
- Performance marketing creatives
- Social media campaigns
- Product launches
- Packaging & inserts
- Advertisements
- Brand campaigns
Simplify complex scientific information into clear, credible, consumer-friendly communication.
4. Social & Creative Collaboration
Partner closely with our two Graphic Designers to:
- Develop creative concepts
- Write creative briefs
- Build storytelling-led campaigns
- Create engaging carousel posts, reels, videos, and static creatives
- Ensure every visual communication reflects the brand's identity and voice
You'll own the idea while collaborating to bring it alive visually.
5. Founder & Thought Leadership
Develop content for the Founder including:
- LinkedIn content
- Speeches
- Interviews
- Opinion pieces
- Industry thought leadership
- Brand announcements
Help position the Founder as a credible voice in skincare, biotechnology, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.
6. PR & Corporate Communication
Create and manage:
- Press releases
- Media communication
- Product launch announcements
- Brand narratives
- External communication
Maintain consistency across every external stakeholder interaction.
7. Content Performance
- Collaborate with Growth, Performance Marketing, SEO, and Website teams to optimise content effectiveness.
- Measure content performance and continuously refine messaging based on insights.
- Stay updated with consumer trends, beauty conversations, and digital content formats.
Who We're Looking ForExperience
- 2–5 years of experience in Brand Strategy, Content Strategy, Copywriting, Brand Marketing, or Content Marketing.
- Experience working with D2C, beauty, skincare, wellness, FMCG, or lifestyle brands is preferred.
Skills
- Exceptional copywriting and storytelling ability.
- Strong understanding of branding and consumer psychology.
- Ability to think conceptually and transform ideas into compelling content across multiple mediums.
- Experience writing for digital, social, performance marketing, websites, email, and offline communication.
- Ability to simplify scientific or technical concepts into engaging consumer communication.
- Working knowledge of SEO and digital content best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.
