Key Responsibilities
● Operate robotic welding cells to achieve production targets.
● Program, teach, and modify robot welding paths for new and existing products.
● Set up welding fixtures, jigs, and tooling for production.
● Monitor welding parameters to ensure consistent weld quality.
● Perform routine preventive maintenance on robotic welding equipment.
● Troubleshoot robot, welding, and electrical/mechanical issues.
● Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing problems.
● Conduct first-piece inspections and ensure welding specifications.
● Maintain welding consumables and monitor inventory levels.
● Optimize cycle times and improve production efficiency.
● Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
● Maintain production records, maintenance logs, and quality documentation.
● Support new product development by validating robotic welding programs.
● Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and continuous improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
● Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering,
● 3–5 years of experience in robotic welding within a manufacturing environment.
● Experience with MIG/MAG, TIG, or Spot Welding processes.
● Knowledge of robotic systems such as Yaskawa, or Panasonic.
● Understanding of welding symbols, blueprints, and GD&T.
● Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, pneumatic systems, and automation equipment is preferred.
● Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Technical Skills
● Robot programming and teaching.
● Welding parameter optimization.
● Preventive and breakdown maintenance.
● Root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
● Reading engineering drawings.
● Quality inspection using measuring instruments.
● Knowledge of welding defects and corrective actions.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
