Duties & responsibilities:
Panel Assembly & Wiring:
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels, including the installation of components such as relays, switches, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, and PLCs according to wiring diagrams and layouts.
- Cut, strip, bend, and connect wires and cables as required, following technical specifications and ensuring precision and neatness.
Installation & Component Integration:
- Install electrical components and subsystems, ensuring accurate connections and configuration according to customer specifications.
- Verify component compatibility and integration, ensuring that panel functionality aligns with design requirements.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Perform functional testing of electrical control panels to verify operation, identify faults, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve wiring or component issues, making adjustments or repairs to meet operational standards.
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and adheres to electrical codes.
Blueprints & Technical Diagrams:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to accurately follow layouts for panel assembly and wiring.
- Communicate with design and engineering teams to clarify technical details and ensure accurate interpretation of specifications.
Compliance & Safety Standards:
- Follow safety guidelines and electrical codes during all assembly, wiring, and testing procedures.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools, adhering to best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including wiring diagrams, test results, and any modifications made.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with components, tools, or specifications to supervisors or engineering teams.
Qualifications:
Education: ITI/ DEE, High school diploma or equivalent; certification or apprenticeship in electrical work preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an electrician in panel manufacturing or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with control panel assembly, wiring, and testing.
- CTC- 3 lpa to 4 lpa
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with electrical tools, including wire cutters, multimeters, and other testing equipment.
- Strong understanding of control systems, PLCs, VFDs, relays, and other panel components.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
