We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales Executive who is deeply passionate about beauty and skincare. In this role, you will be the face of our brand to B2B clients, spa partners, aesthetic clinics, and retail distributors. Your main objective will be to expand our market presence, secure new distribution channels, and drive product volume through consultative selling and education.
Key Responsibilities
- New Account Acquisition: Identify, pitch, and close new wholesale opportunities including beauty retailers, boutique department stores, aesthetic clinics, medical spas, and independent e-commerce platforms.
- Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing retail buyers and decision-makers to encourage re-orders and minimize account churn.
- Product Demos & Education: Conduct engaging in-person or virtual product presentations. Educate potential clients on active ingredients (e.g., retinoids, vitamins, niacinamide), formulation benefits, and the brand's unique selling propositions (USPs).
- Sales Strategy Execution: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets. Pitch creative seasonal promotions, bundled packages, and exclusive launch offers to boost account revenue.
- Retail Visual Merchandising: Work closely with store managers to maximize our shelf space, optimize product placement, and ensure that our retail branding remains flawless and high-end.
- Pipeline Tracking: Maintain meticulous records of all outreach, client interactions, samples dispatched, and sales pipelines using our CRM system ([e.g., Salesforce / HubSpot]).
- Market Analysis: Keep a pulse on viral beauty trends, emerging skincare ingredients, and competitor movements to help the internal team adjust sales and marketing strategy.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the skincare, cosmetics, wellness, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sectors.
- Skincare Knowledge: A strong personal interest in or professional knowledge of skincare, dermatology concepts, cosmetic science, or general beauty trends is highly preferred.
- Communication Style: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills. You must be comfortable picking up the phone, cold-calling, pitching to senior retail buyers, and dealing with client objections smoothly.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel for tracking sales figures) and CRM tools.
- Mobility: Ability and willingness to travel frequently within the designated territory for client visits, store checks, and beauty trade shows.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Cosmetic Science, or a related field is a plus (but not mandatory if backed by an excellent sales track record).
