About the Role
Role Overview
We are seeking a Manager to design, develop, and operate International Group Series tours, with a strong focus on Long Haul destinations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GIT (Group Inclusive Tour) planning, vendor coordination, and end-to-end group tour execution..
Key Responsibilities
- Design and structure International Group Series itineraries for Long Haul destinations (Europe, USA, Canada, Australia, etc.)
- Plan, cost, and operate GIT departures from concept to execution
- Negotiate and manage contracts with international ground handlers, hoteliers, airlines, and other vendors
- Monitor group bookings, seat allocations, and departure confirmations
- Ensure competitive pricing and profitability across group series
- Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to promote group series and drive bookings
- Handle on-ground issue resolution and escalations during tour operations
- Track industry trends, competitor group series, and destination-specific travel advisories
- Prepare post-tour reports, cost analysis, and profitability reviews
- Build and maintain relationships with airlines and DMCs (Destination Management Companies) for long haul markets
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in GIT design and operations, preferably in Long Haul destinations
- Strong knowledge of international ticketing, visa processes, and destination logistics for long haul markets
- Proven track record of successfully operating group series tours
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Strong analytical skills for costing, pricing, and profitability tracking
- Ability to manage multiple group departures simultaneously
- Excellent communication and coordination skills across internal teams and external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- IATA/UFTAA or other travel industry certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and operating International Group Inclusive Tours (GITs).
- Proven experience in handling long-haul international destinations is mandatory.
- Strong network with international DMCs and tourism partners will be preferred.
