Job Description:
Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Performance Tester with strong hands-on expertise in LoadRunner to design, execute, and analyze performance tests for complex applications. The ideal candidate should have good analytical skills, scripting abilities, and experience in identifying performance bottlenecks.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner (VuGen).
Work closely with development and business teams to understand performance requirements.
Conduct load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests.
Execute performance test scenarios and monitor system behavior under load.
Analyze performance test results and prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
Identify performance bottlenecks using monitoring tools and coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
Participate in performance tuning discussions with architects and developers.
Ensure test environments and datasets are prepared for execution.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on expertise with Micro Focus LoadRunner / LoadRunner Enterprise.
Good scripting skills in C (VuGen).
Experience in Performance Center, Controller, and Analysis modules.
Strong understanding of performance engineering concepts.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Splunk.
Knowledge of HTTP/HTML, Web Services, REST API, JDBC, and other protocols.
Ability to analyze results, identify issues, and provide actionable insights.
Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
