Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher for Grades 6, 7, and 8 to join our school. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment, deliver high-quality Social Science instruction, and inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of history, geography, civics, and social awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Social Science lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach History, Geography, Civics, and other Social Science topics to students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 using interactive and student-centered teaching methods.
- Assess student progress through assignments, projects, tests, and classroom activities.
- Provide timely feedback and additional support to students who require it.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Education, or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Previous teaching experience with middle school students (Grades 6–8) is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
