Video Editor & Content Creator
We’re looking for a creative Video Editor & Content Creator who can turn raw footage into engaging, high-quality content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media
- Handle basic video cutting, trimming, sequencing, and pacing
- Add basic transitions, text animations, captions, and effects
- Understand and apply audio editing, including background music, sound effects, voice levels, and noise reduction
- Create engaging edits that match the brand’s content style
- Create social media posters and creatives with an intermediate level of design skills
- Adapt creatives into different formats and sizes for various platforms
- Add subtitles/captions and ensure proper timing and readability
- Understand basic color correction and visual consistency
- Follow content references, trends, and current social media formats
- Make revisions based on feedback and deliver content within deadlines
Required Skills
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of video editing
- Good understanding of content creation and social media content
- Knowledge of basic transitions and motion effects
- Good understanding of audio editing and sound design
- Intermediate-level poster/graphic design skills
- Basic knowledge of color correction
- Good sense of visual storytelling, timing, and pacing
- Ability to understand and follow brand guidelines
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Willingness to learn new editing techniques and social media trends
Preferred
- Experience creating Instagram Reels/Shorts
- Knowledge of editing tools
- Ability to handle both video editing and basic graphic design
