Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and professional Academic Counsellor to join our admissions team. The ideal candidate will assist prospective students throughout the admission process, provide guidance on academic programs, and contribute to student engagement and enrolment activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to student enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, emails, and follow-ups.
- Counsel prospective students on academic programs, admission procedures, and career opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective students and parents.
- Manage enquiries and maintain accurate records using the institute's admission process.
- Follow up with prospective applicants and support the admission lifecycle.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative teams to ensure a smooth admission experience.
- Represent the institute professionally during counselling sessions, educational events, and outreach activities.
- Contribute to enrolment goals while maintaining high standards of student service.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in admissions, academic counselling, business development, customer relationship management, education support, or a similar client-facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the education or training sector.
- Knowledge of student counselling and admission processes.
- Ability to manage multiple enquiries in a fast-paced environment.
