To provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for primary students by taking overall responsibility for the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of the assigned class. The Mother Teacher serves as the primary point of contact for students and parents, ensuring the holistic growth and well-being of every child.
Key Responsibilities Academic Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and academic calendar.
- Teach assigned subjects effectively using age-appropriate teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and teaching aids.
- Monitor students' academic progress and provide timely support where required.
- Maintain students' notebooks, portfolios, and assessment records.
Student Care & Well-being
- Foster a caring, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
- Ensure the physical, emotional, and psychological well-being of students.
- Develop good values, discipline, confidence, and social skills among children.
- Observe and report any concerns related to students' health, behavior, or learning.
Classroom Management
- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage positive behavior.
- Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and organization.
- Supervise students during assemblies, lunch, dispersal, field trips, and school activities.
Parent Communication
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding academic performance, attendance, and overall development.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and provide constructive feedback.
- Address parent concerns professionally and promptly.
Assessment & Documentation
- Conduct periodic assessments and maintain accurate academic records.
- Prepare report cards and progress reports within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain attendance registers and other required documentation.
Co-curricular Activities
- Encourage student participation in cultural, literary, sports, and school events.
- Assist in organizing assemblies, celebrations, exhibitions, and competitions.
Professional Responsibilities
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, training sessions, and professional development programmes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices.
- Comply with school policies, child safeguarding guidelines, and code of conduct.

Pay: ₹10,227.04 - ₹39,283.75 per month
