Position Summary
DEK & Mavericks Green Energy Ltd. is looking for an experienced Warehouse & Logistics Manager to oversee end-to-end warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics planning, and material management for utility-scale and C&I Solar EPC projects. The role requires close coordination with procurement, project execution, stores, and finance teams to ensure timely availability and movement of materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and minimizing losses.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Management
- Manage end-to-end warehouse operations across corporate warehouses and project sites.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, preservation, and identification of all project materials.
- Maintain warehouse discipline, safety, housekeeping, and compliance with company procedures.
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient material handling and space utilization.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock reconciliation.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimum stock availability.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and cycle counts.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Minimize inventory losses, damages, and obsolete stock.
Material Management
- Plan and coordinate material dispatches based on project requirements.
- Ensure timely receipt, storage, issuance, and transfer of materials.
- Coordinate with Procurement and Project teams for uninterrupted material availability.
- Monitor critical inventory and prepare material requirement reports.
Logistics Management
- Plan and coordinate transportation of materials to multiple project sites.
- Optimize logistics costs without compromising delivery timelines.
- Track material movement and ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for smooth operations.
GRN & Documentation
- Ensure timely preparation and verification of Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
- Verify received materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans, and Invoices.
- Maintain complete documentation for inward and outward material movements.
- Ensure ERP entries are completed accurately and on time.
ERP & MIS Reporting
- Maintain warehouse transactions in ERP systems.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports on inventory, logistics, and material movements.
- Monitor inventory ageing, stock consumption, and slow-moving inventory.
- Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.
Site Coordination
- Travel regularly to project sites to monitor warehouse and material management practices.
- Conduct warehouse audits and inventory verification at project locations.
- Train site store personnel on warehouse best practices and company SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures across all project sites.
Team Management
- Lead and mentor warehouse and stores teams.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com or
- B.E./B.Tech (Any Engineering Discipline)
Experience
- 12–17 years of experience in Warehouse, Stores, Inventory, and Logistics Management.
- Mandatory experience in Solar EPC, Renewable Energy, EPC, Power, Infrastructure, or Heavy Engineering Projects.
- Experience in handling warehouse operations for multiple project sites will be preferred.
