Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC Profile Cutting Operator to operate and maintain CNC profile cutting machines for cutting metal plates and sheets according to engineering drawings and production requirements. The candidate should have experience in CNC-controlled Plasma and/or Oxy-Fuel cutting machines.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Profile Cutting Machines safely and efficiently.
- Set up and prepare CNC machines for metal cutting operations.
- Load and position metal plates or sheets correctly on the cutting table.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and production specifications.
- Select and set appropriate cutting parameters based on material type and thickness.
- Operate CNC Plasma, Oxy-Fuel, or other profile cutting systems.
- Monitor the cutting process and ensure accurate cutting dimensions and profiles.
- Inspect finished components for quality, dimensions, and cutting defects.
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings and cutting parameters.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and daily cleaning.
- Identify and report machine malfunctions or technical issues to the maintenance team.
- Minimize material wastage and ensure efficient utilization of raw materials.
- Follow production schedules and achieve assigned targets.
- Maintain proper housekeeping in the work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear the required PPE.
Required Skills
- Experience in operating CNC Profile Cutting Machines.
- Knowledge of CNC Plasma and/or Oxy-Fuel cutting.
- Ability to read and understand engineering and fabrication drawings.
- Knowledge of cutting parameters, material thickness, and metal properties.
- Ability to perform basic machine troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality inspection.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Education
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a relevant technical qualification is preferred.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
