Hiring: Production Head
Location: Pithampur, Sector-3, Dhar (M.P.)
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Production Head to lead and manage production operations in a heavy fabrication manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in production planning, fabrication processes, manpower management, quality control, and shop floor operations while ensuring timely delivery, productivity, and adherence to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all production activities in the fabrication shop.
- Plan, monitor, and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
- Supervise fabrication processes including cutting, welding, fitting, assembly, and dispatch.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and raw materials.
- Coordinate with Quality, Purchase, Stores, and Maintenance departments for smooth operations.
- Monitor productivity, minimize production losses, and reduce rework.
- Ensure all production activities comply with engineering drawings and quality standards.
- Maintain production reports, WIP status, daily output records, and performance metrics.
- Implement safety procedures and maintain discipline across the shop floor.
- Train, guide, and supervise production supervisors, welders, fitters, and machine operators.
- Ensure timely completion of customer orders and dispatch schedules.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical / Production Engineering.
- 12–15 years of experience in Heavy Fabrication or Manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of heavy fabrication processes and welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience in production planning, manpower management, and shop floor supervision.
- Knowledge of quality standards, fabrication inspections, and production reporting.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production documentation.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹41,000.00 per month
