About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store In-Charge to manage the complete store operations, inventory, material movement, documentation, vendor coordination, and store team. The person will be accountable for maintaining accurate stock, smooth material flow, and efficient store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end store operations including material receiving, storage, issuance, dispatch, and returns.
- Maintain accurate physical and system stock and ensure proper inventory control.
- Handle GRN/MRN, material requisitions, stock transfers, and store documentation.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock verification and reconciliation, and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Vendors, Accounts, Production/Operations, and other departments for timely material availability.
- Track purchase orders, pending materials, shortages, damages, and returns.
- Maintain proper bin locations, labeling, FIFO/FEFO, and storage practices.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory and store MIS reports using MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ensure smooth audit processes and maintain complete records for all store transactions.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, space utilization, material handling, and overall store efficiency.
Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 2–10 years of experience in Stores, Warehouse, Inventory, Materials, or Supply Chain.
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end store and inventory management.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Experience with ERP/WMS/Inventory software is an advantage.
- Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage store operations in a fast-paced environment.
