What You'll Do
The Finance trainee will be a member of the BCG X Delivery Finance team, supporting BCG X Delivery leaders in managing our global business units and scaling our near-shore X Build capability hubs across regions.
Main responsibilities include:

Support the day-to-day finance operations including opening new codes and timesheet corrections, financial analysis, reporting, and planning activities for BCG X Delivery.

Assist in monitoring business performance by leveraging BCG financial systems, preparing reports, and providing timely insights on actuals, forecasts, and performance against financial plans.

Track backlogs, monitor pipelines, validate project wins, and analyze their impact on revenue forecasts and overall business outlook.

Contribute to the annual financial planning and budgeting process by assisting with data collection, financial modeling, and other planning activities.

Perform variance analysis and prepared ad hoc financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to support leadership reviews and strategic decision-making.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data, reporting, and operational support.

Assist the broader BCG X Delivery Finance team with finance operations, reporting automation, and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reporting quality.
What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (or currently pursuing one)

Strong interest in Finance and analytics topics

A proactive can-do attitude

Ability to effectively communicate and hold discussions with peer group and staff

High attention to detail and quality of work

Confidence in following up with a structured, organized approach

Strong computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AI tools knowledge is an additional advantage

Fluency in English
Who You'll Work With
You will work with BCG X leaders, BCG X and BCG Finance teams and with closely collaborate with other functions (Staffing, HR). You will build relationships and work effectively with members of billable and BST talent, Global X staffers, CDC, and the X leadership team.
