As we scale our client portfolio, we are looking for a reliable, speed-oriented Freelance WordPress Developer to join our production bench and bring our web designs to life.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer who can build clean, fast, and highly responsive landing pages and multi-page business websites. You will work closely with our design and strategy team to translate wireframes and design layouts into fully functional web experiences optimized for conversions and SEO.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development: Build, customize, and launch WordPress websites from scratch based on approved mockups.
- Landing Page Optimization: Create high-converting landing pages optimized specifically for Google Ads and Social Media ad campaigns.
- Theme & Builder Mastery: Develop efficiently using standard ecosystem tools, specifically Astra theme and Elementor Pro page builder.
- Performance & Speed: Ensure all developed sites achieve excellent core web vitals, fast loading speeds, and flawless mobile responsiveness.
- Technical Integration: Setting up necessary plugins, security protocols, contact forms, and integrating tracking scripts (Google Tag Manager, GA4, FB Pixel).
- Maintenance & Handover: Troubleshoot errors, handle hosting migrations, and deliver clean, organized backend setups for client handover.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of active WordPress development experience (Agency experience is a major plus).
- Tool Stack: Absolute mastery of Elementor, Astra, advanced custom fields (ACF), and essential WordPress plugins.
- Basic Frontend Knowledge: Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and basic JavaScript to make custom tweaks outside of standard builders.
- Performance-Driven: Deep understanding of website speed optimization techniques (caching, image compression, minification).
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing live, operational business websites and high-converting landing pages.
- Communication: Ability to meet deadlines, communicate progress clearly, and work independently on a project-by-project basis.
