Job Summary
To plan, execute, and supervise civil construction activities ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards, with specialization in industrial structures, safety compliance, and interior fit-out works.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution
- Manage end-to-end execution of civil works including industrial buildings, infrastructure, and interior fit-outs
- Review drawings, BOQs, and specifications before execution
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors
Industrial Construction
- Execute factory buildings, warehouses, and heavy-duty structures
- Ensure compliance with industrial standards and load requirements
- Monitor structural quality and material usage
Interior Works
- Supervise interior fit-outs including partitions, false ceilings, flooring, and finishing works
- Coordinate MEP services with interior execution
- Ensure quality aesthetics and finishing standards
Safety Compliance
- Implement and monitor site safety practices as per company and statutory requirements
- Ensure use of PPE and safe working conditions
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Report and investigate incidents
Quality Control
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and standards
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks
- Maintain quality records and reports
Vendor & Contractor Management
- Manage subcontractors and labor teams
- Verify work completion before billing
- Coordinate with vendors for materials and services
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily progress reports (DPR)
- Prepare site reports, measurements, and billing support documents
- Ensure ISO documentation compliance
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Experience:
- Minimum 8+ years in construction industry
- Experience in industrial projects and interior works is mandatory
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials
- Experience in industrial and commercial projects
