Job Summary
The Store Incharge is responsible for managing all store and inventory activities at the construction site/project location. The role includes material receiving, storage, issuance, stock monitoring, record maintenance, and coordination with procurement and project teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability for construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Store Management
- Maintain proper stock of construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables.
- Ensure accurate inward and outward entries of all materials.
- Monitor stock levels and inform management about shortages or excess inventory.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels for critical materials.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
Material Receiving & Issuance
- Verify received materials against Purchase Orders (PO), delivery challans, and invoices.
- Check quality, quantity, and condition of incoming materials.
- Issue materials to site teams as per authorized material requisition notes (MRN).
- Ensure proper documentation for all store transactions.
Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain stock registers, GRN (Goods Receipt Note), issue slips, and inventory reports.
- Update ERP/software/manual stock records on a daily basis.
- Maintain records of tools, machinery, and returnable materials.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Purchase Department for timely material procurement.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers and Contractors regarding material requirements.
- Support accounts team during audits and invoice verification.
Store Maintenance & Safety
- Ensure proper storage and preservation of materials.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety within the store area.
- Prevent material damage, wastage, theft, or misuse.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and inventory policies.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of construction materials and inventory management.
- Good understanding of storekeeping procedures and documentation.
- Basic knowledge of ERP/software/MS Excel.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
Qualification
Experience
- 3–7 years of experience as Store Incharge in Real Estate / Construction industry.
- Experience in handling construction site materials and inventory operations.
Preferred Knowledge
- Cement, steel, electrical, plumbing, hardware, finishing, and civil construction materials.
- ERP systems such as SAP, Tally, or construction inventory software.
- Basic understanding of vendor coordination and procurement processes.

- Accuracy of stock records.
- Timely availability of materials.
- Reduction in material wastage/loss.
- Proper documentation compliance.
- Inventory reconciliation accuracy.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
Experience:
- Real estate industry: 6 years (Preferred)
