Job Purpose
The Lab Engineer will be responsible for conducting laboratory testing, inspection, analysis, and quality control activities to ensure that raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products meet defined quality standards, specifications, and applicable testing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory tests and analysis of raw materials, construction materials, and finished products as per approved test methods and specifications.
- Perform routine and specialized testing using laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Prepare test samples and ensure proper identification, handling, and storage.
- Record test results accurately in laboratory registers, reports, and relevant documentation.
- Verify test results against applicable specifications and quality requirements.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and testing facilities in good working condition.
- Ensure calibration and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment are carried out as scheduled.
- Identify deviations, abnormal test results, and quality issues and report them to the Lab Manager.
- Support investigation of non-conformities and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain proper housekeeping, safety, and discipline within the laboratory.
- Follow laboratory SOPs, safety procedures, quality systems, and company policies.
- Maintain proper documentation and traceability of samples and test results.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, R&D, and other departments regarding testing and quality-related requirements.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing required records and test documentation.
- Ensure laboratory chemicals, consumables, and testing materials are properly maintained and monitored.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly laboratory reports as required by management.
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.Tech / B.E. / M.Sc. / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a relevant discipline.
- Experience: 1–5 years of relevant laboratory/testing experience preferred.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.

Working Conditions
The role involves working primarily in a laboratory/testing environment and may require coordination with production and quality teams. The employee must follow all applicable safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
