We are hiring a Technical Quotation Expert to prepare accurate, timely, and competitive quotations for our technical/engineering products & services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in reading technical specifications, costing, and coordinating with the sales and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical quotations based on client requirements, drawings, and specifications
- Calculate costing (material, labour, overheads, margins) accurately
- Coordinate with sales, procurement, and production teams to finalize pricing
- Maintain quotation records, follow-ups, and revision history
- Communicate with clients/vendors to clarify technical requirements
- Ensure quotations are submitted within deadlines
- Analyze past quotations to improve pricing accuracy and win rate
Required Skills:
- Good understanding of technical/engineering terminology and specifications
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and quotation
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Eligibility:
- Graduate/Diploma in Engineering, or relevant technical background preferred
- Prior experience in quotation, costing, or technical sales support preferred
