Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Production Team: Supervise and mentor a team of production engineers and technicians to achieve production goals and objectives.
2. Process Development: Design, develop, and implement new production processes and equipment to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
3. Production Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and schedule production, ensuring timely delivery of products.
4. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production-related problems, using root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
5. Quality Control: Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards, implementing quality control measures as needed.
6. Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce production costs, implementing cost-saving initiatives and tracking results.
7. Capital Projects: Manage capital projects related to production, including equipment installation, process upgrades, and facility expansions.
8. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
2. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fabrication production engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
3. Skills:
- Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and technology.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with lean manufacturing or other process improvement methodologies.
