Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented Academic Counselor to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to engage with prospective students, guide them toward successful careers in 3D Animation, VFX, and Game Design, and drive enrollment growth.
The ideal candidate acts as a bridge between a student’s creative aspirations and our specialized training programs. You will be responsible for managing the entire admissions lifecycle—from initial inquiry to final enrollment—ensuring a high conversion rate while maintaining the highest professional ethics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Conversion: Proactively manage and convert leads generated via digital marketing and walk-ins into confirmed admissions.
- Career Counseling: Conduct detailed counseling sessions to understand student interests and recommend the most suitable course (including specialized Career Assurance Programs).
- Pipeline Management: Maintain consistent follow-ups with prospective students and parents to address queries and close the admission process.
- Student Onboarding: Assist students with the registration process, fee installment plans, and documentation.
- Public Speaking: Represent the institute at seminars, workshops, and school/college events to build brand awareness and generate fresh leads.
- Database Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions in our student management system or CRM.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Communication: Exceptional command over both Hindi and English. You must be able to articulate complex career paths clearly and confidently.
- Personality: A positive, "smiling" demeanor with a welcoming approach. We value counselors who can build immediate rapport and trust.
- Sales Acumen: Proven ability to handle objections, negotiate effectively, and meet monthly admission targets.
- Ethics: A strong sense of professional integrity and a student-first approach to counseling.
- Technical Literacy: Comfortable using WhatsApp Business, Google Sheets, and basic CRM tools for lead tracking.
- Flexibility: Ability to manage on-campus events and occasional outdoor seminars.
Experience
- Prior experience in educational counseling, tele-sales, or the AVGC industry is highly preferred.
