Emerging Tech Technical Lead (AWS)
To qualify for the role, you must have
Excellent academic background, including at a minimum a bachelor/master’s degree in, Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field with strong quantitative focus.
6+ years of working experience with particular focus on the following:
Cloud & Platform Expertise
Strong hands-on experience with:
AWS (EKS, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions)
Solid understanding of cloud-native architecture principles
Programming
Proficiency in:
Python
Node.js(Preferred)
Experience building RESTful / event-driven APIs and backend services
Event-Driven Architecture
Experience with:
Kafka
Kafka alternatives (e.g., AWS EventBridge, SNS/SQS, Azure Event Hub, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Strong understanding of asynchronous communication patterns in distributed ecosystem
Containers & Orchestration
Hands-on experience with:
Docker
Kubernetes (EKS/AKS)
Full Stack Development
Experience building end-to-end applications, including:
Backend services
API design
Integration layers
Model Lifecycle & Orchestration
Deploy, fine-tune, and orchestrate foundation models and LLMs using services like Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Bedrock. Design agentic workflows and multi-step AI processes
Experience building end-to-end applications, including:
Backend services
API design
Integration layers
Performance Optimization
Proven experience in:
Application performance tuning
Load handling and scalability improvements
Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in distributed systems
Good to have
Experience with microservices architecture
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (practical exposure, not purely DevOps-focused)
Knowledge of observability tools (monitoring, logging, tracing)
Understanding of security best practices in cloud applications
Exposure to frontend frameworks like React JS is a plus (but not mandatory)
SoftSkills
Strong communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills in English for both technical and business audiences.
Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work under tight timelines for multiple project deliveries.
Ability/flexibility to travel and work abroad for international projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Design and build scalable, resilient cloud-native applications using AWS/Azure services
Develop and maintain end-to-end full stack solutions (backend, APIs, integrations, and cloud services)
Implement event-driven systems using Kafka and related messaging/event streaming technologies
Build and manage microservices using containers (Docker) and orchestration platforms
Develop serverless applications using:
AWS Lambda, Step Functions
Node JS /Python
Work with container platforms:
AWS EKS / ECS
AWS Bedrock and Integration with AI Models
Ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability through optimization, monitoring, and tuning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
