Staff Nurse
Job Summary
We are seeking a caring and responsible healthcare professional to provide nursing care and assist physiotherapists in patient rehabilitation and recovery. The candidate will support patient treatment, monitor health conditions, and ensure comfort and safety in the hospital environment.
Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesBasic Nursing Duties in Hospital
- Check and record patient vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen levels.
- Administer medicines and injections as prescribed by doctors.
- Assist doctors during examinations and medical procedures.
- Provide basic patient care including bathing, feeding, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor patient condition and report any changes to senior staff or doctors.
- Maintain patient files, treatment charts, and nursing records.
- Assist in shifting and transporting patients safely.
- Ensure cleanliness and infection control in patient rooms and wards.
- Change dressings and support wound care procedures.
- Support emergency and first-aid care when required.
- Educate patients and family members about treatment and home care instructions.
- Maintain proper use and care of medical equipment.
Physiotherapy Assistance Duties
- Assist physiotherapists during therapy sessions and rehabilitation exercises.
- Help patients with mobility exercises and walking support.
- Prepare therapy equipment and treatment areas.
- Encourage patients during rehabilitation programs.
Qualification Requirements
Candidates with any of the following qualifications can apply:
- B.Sc Nursing
- GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery)
- GDA (General Duty Assistant)
- ANM
Skills Required
- Good communication and patient-handling skills
- Basic nursing and healthcare knowledge
- Compassionate and caring attitude
- Ability to work in shifts and emergency situations
