Job Summary
Chesa Dental Care Services is looking for a skilled and customer-focused Radiology Technician – Dental Equipment to support the installation, application, training, and troubleshooting of advanced dental imaging systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Dental OPG, CBCT, RVG, and Intraoral X-ray systems, along with the ability to train dental professionals on equipment operation and imaging protocols.
The role involves regular interaction with dentists, clinics, hospitals, and channel partners to ensure proper installation, smooth operation, and optimal utilization of dental imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Equipment Installation & Commissioning
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of dental imaging equipment, including:
- CBCT Systems
- OPG (Orthopantomogram) Machines
- RVG (Radiovisiography) Systems
- Intraoral X-ray Units
- Intraoral Scanners (where applicable)
- Perform pre-installation site inspections and coordinate installation requirements with customers.
- Ensure successful installation, calibration, and operational readiness of equipment.
2. Clinical Application Support
- Provide application support to dentists, orthodontists, oral surgeons, and clinic staff.
- Demonstrate proper usage of dental imaging equipment.
- Train users on patient positioning, image acquisition techniques, and software functionality.
- Ensure users are able to operate the equipment independently after installation.
3. Customer Training
- Conduct product demonstrations for customers.
- Train doctors and clinical staff on:
- Equipment operation
- Software usage
- Image acquisition
- Patient positioning
- Radiation safety protocols
- Image optimization
- Conduct refresher training sessions whenever required.
4. Technical Troubleshooting
- Identify and troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.
- Provide first-level technical support to customers.
- Coordinate with service engineers for major technical issues.
- Follow up until customer issues are completely resolved.
5. Preventive Maintenance Support
- Support scheduled preventive maintenance visits.
- Perform routine equipment inspections.
- Verify calibration and imaging quality.
- Report equipment abnormalities to the service team.
6. Customer Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with dentists, hospitals, and dental clinics.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through timely support.
- Address customer concerns professionally.
- Collect customer feedback and share improvement suggestions with the management team.
7. Product Demonstrations
- Conduct live demonstrations of dental imaging equipment.
- Explain product features and clinical benefits.
- Assist the sales team during customer presentations.
- Support exhibitions, conferences, workshops, and promotional events whenever required.
8. Documentation
Maintain accurate documentation related to:
- Installation Reports
- Training Reports
- Service Visit Reports
- Customer Feedback
- Equipment Checklists
- Site Inspection Reports
- Preventive Maintenance Records
- Product Demonstration Reports
9. Coordination
Coordinate effectively with:
- Sales Team
- Service Engineers
- Product Specialists
- Warehouse & Dispatch Team
- Customers
- Management
Ensure timely installation, service support, and customer issue resolution.
10. Travel
- Travel to customer locations for installations, demonstrations, training, and support.
- Be willing to travel extensively as per business requirements.

- Certification in Radiology or Medical Imaging Technology is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in dental imaging equipment, radiology applications, or clinical application support.
- Experience in handling dental radiology equipment is mandatory.
- Experience in customer-facing technical support or application training is preferred.
