Key Responsibilities:1. Daily Operations Handling:
- Monitor and manage day-to-day poultry farm/processing activities (feeding, vaccination, culling, sorting, etc.).
- Coordinate poultry flock management including scheduling of batches and tracking bird growth/performance.
- Supervise cleanliness and hygiene practices in poultry houses or processing units.
- Ensure timely maintenance of equipment and facilities.
2. Staff Coordination:
- Assign daily tasks to field workers, farmhands, or production staff.
- Ensure labor availability and coordinate shift schedules.
- Train new staff on SOPs, safety, and animal welfare standards.
3. Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination:
- Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of feed, medicines, and other consumables.
- Plan dispatch schedules and vehicle logistics for live bird/meat delivery.
- Track inventory and maintain stock levels of essential items.
4. Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to biosecurity protocols and health/safety regulations.
- Monitor and report mortality rates, disease outbreaks, or operational issues.
- Maintain accurate records related to production, health checks, and movement logs.
5. Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Track KPIs such as feed conversion ratio (FCR), mortality rate, and production output.
- Collaborate with veterinarians, quality assurance, and other internal teams.
