Key Responsibilities
- Assembling Footage: Selecting the best takes and trimming clips to establish pacing, timing, and storytelling flow.
- Audio Engineering: Syncing, balancing, and mixing background music, voiceovers, and sound effects to enhance the mood.
- Visual Enhancements: Applying color correction, transitions, motion graphics, and visual effects (VFX).
- Platform Optimization: Tailoring and exporting the final cut for specific platforms, such as YouTube, TikTok, or broadcast. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Essential Skills
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of editing suites like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Storytelling: A strong understanding of pacing, sequence, and how to visually captivate a target audience.
- Detail-Oriented: Meticulous approach to continuity, audio sync, and strict delivery deadlines.
