Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Operator & Programmer to set up, program, and operate CNC laser cutting machines. The ideal candidate will have experience with CAD/CAM software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality parts according to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines for different metals.
- Create and modify DXF Drawing programs using CAD/CAM software
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications
- Adjust machine settings for optimal cutting performance
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Optimize cutting processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Laser Operator and/or Programmer
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance
- High school diploma or ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fiber laser machines
- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication
- Knowledge of nesting software
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
