About the Role
Inductus Limited is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager (Government Sales)
to drive government business opportunities, liaisoning activities, bid management, and tender participation across Central and State government departments. The candidate should have strong exposure in government consulting, manpower/service projects, skill development projects, PMU assignments, or related government engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop business opportunities in Government Departments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, and related agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, departments, and key stakeholders for business generation and liaisoning activities.
- Track and analyze government tenders, RFPs, EOIs, GeM opportunities, and procurement notices.
- Manage end-to-end bid management processes including documentation, coordination, compliance, and submission.
- Coordinate internally with operations, finance, legal, and technical teams for preparation of proposals and tender documents.
- Prepare business presentations, capability documents, commercial proposals, and pre-bid responses.
- Ensure timely submission of bids and adherence to tender requirements.
- Handle vendor registrations, empanelment processes, and government portal coordination.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, client discussions, and negotiations.
- Maintain database of upcoming projects, tender pipelines, and business prospects.
- Support contract finalization, post-award coordination, and client relationship management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Policy, or related field.
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in Government Sales, Tendering, Bid Management, or Liaisoning.
- Good understanding of GeM Portal, CPPP, e-Procurement portals, and government procurement processes.
- Experience in handling manpower projects, PMU projects, skill development projects, or consulting assignments will be preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office, proposal drafting, and documentation management.
