Territory Sales Manager-Himachal Pradesh
Experience:- Min 8-10 years
Reporting To – ZSM-NORTH ZONE
Location – Mandi/ Chandigarh
Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Engineering /Agriculture / Business Management
·* Key Responsibilities*
o Responsible for achieving sales targets, dealer development activities.
o Appointment and activation of new dealers in the territory.
o Development of key accounts in institutional segment
o Market mapping managing existing dealer and ensure the dealer network expansion to increase the market share of products. Understanding of the market and relevant business segment is preferred.
o Submitting sales forecast Annual, quarterly & monthly sales target, ensuring proper internal and external communication.
o Responsible for primary & secondary sales objective of the company and payment collections.
o Should possess strong analytical skills understand the market dynamics.
o* Compiling and analyzing the sales figures. Track & create leads to new business opportunities in his territory.*
o Initiate and participate in various marketing activities like exhibitions, advertising in close cooperation with head office Provide technical and marketing support to dealers by closely interacting with head office
o Managing and maintaining good relations with the current institutional/key accounts business and government business.
o* Keeping up to date with products and competitors Experience of handling Key accounts and OEMs * Proven past record of dealing with Govt and Seno Govt tender business.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Educational Qualification & experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering / agriculture / MBA (Sales & Marketing).
· Min 8 Years of experience in power tools, agricultural implements, outdoor equipment, farm machinery, or Agri-inputs or related organization.
· Experience in managing multi-State/Territory sales operations preferred.
· Prior experience as Territory Sales Manager or Senior Sales Manager is an added advantage.
· Preference for candidates with knowledge of agricultural/horticultural subsidy programs.
· Experience dealing with state Agri/horticulture departments, and familiarity with government tender business.
Technical / Functional Skills
·* Strong knowledge of Agri-Machinery, farm equipment operations*, rural markets, and dealer ecosystem.
· Ability to conduct and supervise field demos and product trials.
· Strong analytical skills in forecasting and sales planning.
Proficiency in CRM, MS Excel, reporting tools, and sales dashboards
Soft Skills:
· Excellent team leadership and people management skills.
· Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities.
· High energy, result-oriented, and comfortable with extensive rural travel.
Other Requirements / Skills:
· Willingness to travel 12–15 days per month across HP Hilly Terrian.
· Strong on-ground execution mindset with the ability to operate in remote regions/Territory.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
