Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused Quality Control Executive – Packaging to ensure that all packaging materials meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and approving packaging materials while maintaining accurate documentation and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to resolve quality issues.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming packaging materials such as cartons, labels, pouches, bottles, cans, etc.
- Perform quality tests (GSM, bursting strength, thickness, seal integrity, and stability tests).
- Verify packaging artwork, print quality, color accuracy, barcode readability, and label details.
- Maintain inspection reports, master artworks, calibration records, and QC documentation.
- Identify packaging defects and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with vendors and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, company quality standards, and approved specifications.
- Coordinate with production, purchase, and vendors for quality-related issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Science (Chemistry, Pharmacy, Cosmetics) or Packaging Technology.
- 1–5 years of experience in Packaging Quality Control (FMCG, Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, or Manufacturing preferred).
- Knowledge of packaging materials, printing processes, and quality testing methods.
- Good understanding of GMP and quality documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
