Job Role
We are looking for a Store Assistant to join our team in the Greater Chennai Area. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Responsibilities
- Receive and issue materials.
- Maintain stock and inventory records.
- Store materials properly with correct labels.
- Keep the store clean and organized.
- Support daily stock checking.
- Coordinate with the production and purchase teams.
- Update records in the ERP system and Excel.
- Maintain store documents and reports.
- Follow company safety rules and procedures.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse, inventory, or automotive manufacturing.
- Good communication skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management and material handling.
- Experience with ERP software and MS Excel.
- Ability to maintain stock records and documents.
- Physically fit to handle materials and work in a warehouse environment.
- Minimum qualification: 12th Pass, Diploma, or equivalent.
- Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.
