Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced 3B2 Composer with a strong background in automated pagination and typesetting for books, journals, and other publications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining templates, automating layouts, and ensuring the highest level of typographic quality using 3B2 (Arbortext APP). Experience in the STM (Science, Technical, and Medical) publishing industry is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and modify 3B2 templates for automated typesetting workflows.
- Execute high-quality pagination for books, journals, and complex content structures.
- Handle XML/MathML/SGML inputs and ensure accurate rendering using 3B2.
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and production teams to understand layout specifications.
- Ensure compliance with client stylesheets and journal/book-specific layout requirements.
- Perform pre-flight checks and troubleshoot layout issues.
- Optimize composition automation using scripting/macros.
- Provide technical support and documentation for 3B2 template usage.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining accuracy and formatting quality.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
