- MBA in Healthcare Management, Operations, or Project Management is preferred.
- PMP/PRINCE2 certification will be an added advantage.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Project Manager – Onsite Diagnostics to lead the end-to-end implementation of onsite diagnostic laboratory projects across hospitals, corporate clients, and healthcare institutions. The incumbent will be responsible for project planning, infrastructure readiness, equipment installation, regulatory compliance, stakeholder management, operational handover, and successful Go-Live of diagnostic laboratories within defined timelines and budgets.
The ideal candidate should possess strong project management skills, healthcare operations knowledge, and experience in laboratory setup and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution
- Lead end-to-end implementation of onsite diagnostic laboratory projects.
- Prepare project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and implementation schedules.
- Monitor project progress to ensure timely completion within scope and budget.
- Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Ensure adherence to project governance and implementation standards.
2. Site Assessment & Laboratory Setup
- Conduct feasibility studies and infrastructure assessments.
- Coordinate laboratory layout planning and infrastructure requirements.
- Oversee civil work, electrical systems, networking, HVAC, plumbing, and utility readiness.
- Ensure complete laboratory readiness before Go-Live.
3. Equipment & Infrastructure Management
- Coordinate procurement, installation, calibration, qualification, and validation of laboratory equipment.
- Ensure timely availability of furniture, consumables, reagents, IT infrastructure, branding, and operational supplies.
- Coordinate with vendors for delivery, installation, commissioning, and issue resolution.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Laboratory, HR, IT, Procurement, Finance, Marketing, and Quality teams.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and training of laboratory personnel.
- Ensure effective communication among internal departments and external stakeholders.
5. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project implementation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital management, corporate clients, consultants, and business partners.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction throughout the implementation lifecycle.
6. Regulatory & Quality Compliance
- Ensure compliance with NABL guidelines, biomedical waste management regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate documentation for licenses, registrations, approvals, and accreditation.
- Support internal audits, external audits, and quality assessments.
7. Operational Readiness & Go-Live
- Ensure complete operational readiness before project launch.
- Conduct final inspections and readiness assessments.
- Coordinate successful commissioning and Go-Live activities.
- Handover completed projects to the Operations team with all required documentation.
- Support post-Go-Live stabilization and issue resolution.
8. Budget Management & Reporting
- Monitor implementation budgets and optimize project costs.
- Prepare project MIS reports, dashboards, status reports, and management presentations.
- Track KPIs, resource utilization, timelines, risks, and overall project performance.
- Submit periodic progress reports to senior management.
