Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned and hands-on Global HR Manager to lead Human Resources across India, Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, and Japan.
The role will be responsible for developing and executing HR strategy, ensuring country-specific statutory and employment law compliance, managing the complete employee lifecycle, and partnering closely with business leaders to support organizational growth.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic HR professional who can operate effectively across multiple countries and cultures while remaining closely involved in day-to-day HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR strategy, operations, and people initiatives across multiple international locations.
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, labour regulations, statutory requirements, payroll, benefits, and HR policies across India, Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, and Japan.
- Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, employee relations, talent management, and people strategy.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, career development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, payroll governance, and annual salary review processes.
- Manage employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, workplace investigations, grievance handling, and dispute resolution.
- Oversee immigration, work permits, visas, and international mobility requirements.
- Develop, implement, and standardize HR policies and processes while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Drive HR analytics, dashboards, reporting, and data-driven people decisions.
- Identify opportunities for HR process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Support organizational change, culture-building, and employee engagement initiatives across geographies.
- Act as a trusted HR advisor to employees, managers, and senior leadership.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA/Master's degree in HR preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated experience managing HR across multiple countries.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, statutory compliance, payroll regulations, and immigration requirements across India, Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, and Japan.
- Proven experience across HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, and HR Operations.
- Experience managing international or geographically distributed teams and employees.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Excellent cross-cultural collaboration and people-management capabilities.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multinational environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High level of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
