ABOUT THIS ROLE
We are looking for a reliable, well-organised, and communicative Purchase Assistant to support our Operations Manager at the head office in Tripunithura, Kochi. You will coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs, manage vendor relationships, assist with procurement, and handle general administrative tasks. This is a junior, office-based role where strong communication and interpersonal skills are as important as organisational ability.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Coordinate service, maintenance, and repair of company vehicles with garages and service centres
- Track vehicle service schedules, insurance, and PUC renewals; maintain a vehicle log
- Maintain an updated vendor contact list and coordinate for quotations, orders, and delivery follow-ups
- Assist with raising purchase requisitions and verifying goods received against purchase orders
- Maintain records of purchases, invoices, and delivery notes in an organised manner
- Provide day-to-day administrative support — correspondence, filing, scheduling, and general coordination
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Graduate in any discipline — Commerce preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in admin, purchase support, or a coordination role; freshers welcome
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills — essential for this role
- Good spoken and written Malayalam and English; Hindi is an advantage
- Basic computer skills — MS Office (Word, Excel), email, WhatsApp
- Well-organised, reliable, and proactive in following up on tasks
