We are looking for a Service Engineer with hands-on experience in online UPS systems above 20 kVA (single and three phase). The role involves field installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown service at customer sites, ensuring high uptime and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission online UPS systems (20 kVA and above) with associated batteries and cabling at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance and attend breakdown calls, diagnose faults, replace parts/PCBs, and restore systems.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers and hand-hold them during initial operations.
- Maintain accurate service reports, update service logs/CRM, and adhere to company service processes.
- Coordinate with Service Manager for spares, escalations, and critical site support; follow all safety and EHS guidelines.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of UPS systems and power electronics (rectifier, inverter, battery charger, AC/DC, DC/AC).
- Practical experience in UPS installation, battery bank connections, and fault diagnosis using basic test instruments.
- Ability to read and understand electrical single-line diagrams.
- Good communication in English and local language, customer-focused attitude, and readiness for field travel.
